Boss, here’s your final reminder before the 31 December 2025 deadline hits.

Many employers still overlook this: 

Stamping of ALL employment contracts is compulsory under the Stamp Act 1949 — including full-time, part-time, fixed-term, short-term employment agreements.

And once we roll into 1 January 2026, the “penalty-free” window closes. Any late stamping will expose your business to penalties under LHDN rules.

🚨Penalties for late stamping (Starting 1 January 2026)

If stamping is delayed, LHDN will impose:

• Delayed 31 days – 3 months: RM50 or 10% of deficient duty (whichever is higher)
• Delayed more than 3 months: RM100 or 20% of deficient duty (whichever is higher)
