Q:
Is medical check-up eligible for tax relief?
A:
Only a full body medical examination is eligible for tax relief. If it is only a urine test or blood test, it is not eligible for tax relief.
Q:
I have 2 kids. I have registered an SSPN account for one kid under my name, whereas my husband registered another SSPN account for another kid under his name. If my husband did not claim tax relief for SSPN, can I claim tax relief for both the SSPN accounts?
A:
You can only claim tax relief for the SSPN account that is registered under your name. Please also note that the maximum tax relief that you can claim for SSPN is only up to RM 8,000.
