Is eye specialist consultation fee eligible for personal tax relief under medical expense for serious disease?

A:
If the consultation fee is relating to serious disease or illness of your eyes (e.g. eye cancer) then only the consultation fee is eligible for tax relief.

Can a pregnant woman claim personal tax relief under medical expense for serious disease on the medical fee incurred for miscarriage?

A:
Unfortunately, miscarriage is not categorised as a serious illness or disease for this relief, as such the fee incurred is not eligible to be claimed as relief.
